Work Visa

Work Visa

Generally, for temporary work, your prospective employer must file a nonimmigrant petition with USCIS. Certain classifications, such as E-1, E-2, E-3, and TN, allow work without prior employer petitioning.

Our experienced attorneys will guide you through every step of the process, from initial consultation and application preparation to visa interviews and beyond. We understand the importance of timely and accurate processing, and we are committed to providing personalized attention to each client, maximizing your chances of success and minimizing potential delays.

H-1B Visa

An H-1B visa allows a foreign professional to work in the United States for a temporary period. Your employer must petition for you through USCIS. Your job position must be a specialty occupation that requires a bachelor’s degree and highly specialized knowledge.

L-1 Visa

Multinational companies utilize the L visa to temporarily transfer employees with managerial, executive, or specialized knowledge from foreign offices to related U.S. branches, subsidiaries, or parent companies.

O-1 Visa

O visa is designated for individuals with extraordinary abilities in the sciences, arts, education, business, or athletics; or someone with extraordinary achievement in motion picture and television production, to work and live in the United States temporarily.

TN Visa

Under the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), Canadian and Mexican citizens of qualified professions, such as accountants, engineers, lawyers, pharmacists, scientists and teachers, may seek temporary entry into the U.S. and work for their U.S. employer.

E Visa

E visas enable treaty traders (E-1) and investors (E-2) to work in the U.S. based on treaties between their country and the United States. These visas facilitate substantial trade or investment, fostering economic activity. The E-3 visa is specifically for Australian specialty occupation professionals.

CHANGE OF STATUS

Changing your non-immigrant status within the U.S. allows you to transition between visa categories without leaving the country. To qualify, you must have been lawfully admitted, maintained your status, have not violated any rules, and have no disqualifying criminal records.
